Did anyone tell the Lions the game was today? That was an awful performance. I'm glad I got the Steelers to root for, too. I dont know what else to say.
What does Charles Rogers have to do to get a look? It's obvious Joey keys on Pollard and Williams on each passing play. Sure Rogers is basically a rookie, but is he running the wrong routes or something? He gets less looks than Kevin Johnson!
I was hoping things would change, but it looks like its the same old Lions. This was a game an improving team should have at the very least been competitive in.I have come to conclusion that we will be doomed as long as MM, Mooch, and Joey are in the organization. Too bad this will never happen. The Lions will continue to follow the Cardinals of the 1990's strategy of drafting in the top 10 every year. All of these great top 10 picks will give hope and keep MM employed.
The way we responded to the first touchdown of the game was fun to watch at least......until we missed the extra point.I forgot I was watching the Lions for about 30 seconds on that one...Stopped watching with about 1:40 before the half at 24-6 to go take a shower, just to find out that we managed to turn it over again to go down 31-6 before the half...Disgusting.
Can anyone explain to me why Dan the Man was not in as of the 4th quarter What was the sense in Joey playing the game was another useless loss
Matt Leinart is probably starting to keep an eye on the situation here after today's disgusting performance.
I have one word; PREDICTABLE. If you weren't expecting this, you haven't watched Lions' football. This was typical Lions fashion.I'm with Darren. My dad told me at a young age to make sure I have another team to root for too. So far...Steelers 2-0.
Haven't I seen this movie before? Sure am glad we got the fourth Stooge Millen signed up for a contract extention. Can they really win 6 games this year, no way.
Will they ever change. Will we ever have to stop saying "same old Lions". The more things change, the more they just stay the same.
Blame this game on the Offensive Line, if your QB has no time to get his feet set, you are not going to be too accurate. Blame this one on Dick Jauron, calling a conservative game plan, no blitzing a rookie QB? They let him sit in the pocket and look like Joe Montana. Games are won and lost in the trenches, this team was dominated by the Bears offensive and defensive lines. Harrington was not at fault this time, too bad he'll get the blame though
I can kinda agree with that. And there were times when it was obvious that receivers were just breaking their routes. They were horrible as a team. Don't put it all on Joey. And hey, Culpepper threw 5 interceptions too... =PThat was sarcasm.
